Nova Cubes1. The service and operator
These terms cover Nova Cubes: Number Merge for Android and iPhone and its optional account service and leaderboard. The operator is LIGSY LLC, Battle Ground, Washington, United States; info@ligsyus.com. Use the game under these terms and applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights remain in force.
2. Play at your own pace
Nova Cubes is a number-merging puzzle without a countdown for choosing a move. Equal cubes merge; consecutive drops use different columns. Points reward merges within a chain, while the largest cube is a separate achievement. Growing the active number range retires the smallest cubes. Scores and game events have no monetary value and are not gambling, prizes or investment results.
3. Accounts and sign-in
Guest play is available at any age. Accounts and public leaderboard participation are managed by an adult, including a parent or guardian. The adults section provides account controls. Use a game nickname without contact information, abusive content or impersonation. Use available Google Play Games or Apple Game Center sign-in under the platform's terms. Keep the account password and emailed recovery codes private.
4. Automatic leaderboard
Under an account, game results are considered automatically, including before defeat and when starting again. The server verifies moves against the registered seed and updates the best record after verification. The leaderboard is public to guests. Fabricated results, attacks, account theft and automated abuse are prohibited. Unverifiable results are excluded. Rankings are separated by game-rules revision; a position is not guaranteed.
5. Recovery, unlinking and deletion
A recovery code restores access and is replaced after use. Losing every available sign-in and recovery method can prevent access to the account. You can sign out or delete your Nova Cubes account through the app or account page. Deletion removes the associated account and ranked records and is permanent. It does not delete your Google or Apple account or an account in another LIGSY app. Privacy details and backup retention are described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Local progress and connectivity
Each app launch starts a new board. Your chosen settings and statistics of your best local result remain on the device. Under an account, pending record-verification data is kept for retry after interruptions. Sign-in, recovery and server ranking need an internet connection; verification and updates may be delayed. A network failure does not itself create a verified public result. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes local settings, local statistics and pending results; previously verified server records remain with your account.
7. Advertising
Advertising breaks can occur after three minutes of foreground app use. Background time and the ad itself do not count toward the next interval. If you terminate the app during an unfinished break, the break remains due and a new appropriate ad can appear when you return. A normal close action offered by the ad completes the break. Ads depend on availability; the app does not require a click or purchase from an advertiser.
8. Permanent ad removal
Remove Ads is a single, non-consumable purchase, not a subscription. The base US price is US$4.99; the store displays the applicable local price and taxes before you confirm. A verified purchase disables advertising without changing game rules or leaderboard scoring. Restore an existing purchase using the store account that bought it. A pending, cancelled or failed payment does not grant the purchase. Store refunds and revoked purchases can end the entitlement. Google Play and Apple manage their own purchase records; mandatory consumer rights remain in force.
9. Intellectual property and fair use
LIGSY and its licensors retain rights in the game, software, artwork, sound and branding. You receive permission to use the app for personal play under the applicable store terms. Do not distribute the app's assets or credentials, bypass protections, interfere with service operation or use the branding to imply an endorsement. Rights permitted by mandatory law are unaffected.
10. Stores, availability and changes
Google Play and Apple's App Store govern their own accounts, downloads and store services. These terms do not replace their rules or create a charge or subscription by themselves. We may improve content, balance and security. No particular strategy, uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device is guaranteed. Proportionate protective measures may be used against abuse; they do not remove mandatory consumer rights.
11. Responsibility and your rights
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without a promise that it will meet every expectation or never experience errors or interruptions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, removes mandatory consumer protections or limits remedies provided by applicable law. These terms do not require confidential credentials to be sent to support.
12. Privacy, updates and contact
Read the Nova Cubes Privacy Policy for data use and deletion. We date changes to these terms and give further notice when law requires it. A change to terms is not consent to unrelated optional data processing. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining terms apply to the extent permitted by law.
